I am honored to have this opportunity to represent the school to participate in the American cross-cultural health care exchange. After studying in the United States, my speaking ability has improved a lot, because the impact of the environment must allow me to live in an environment in English, and it also makes me more enthusiastic about expressing my ideas in English. Get up on time every day, prepare breakfast, go to the supermarket to buy daily necessities and ingredients, review and preview the lecture notes of the teacher’s lectures and discuss with partners in the evening. The total amount of these lives has cultivated our self-discipline and independent ability, and it also strengthened our American team's tacit understanding and teamwork spirit.

The University of Arizona is a great help for our exchange students. The students in the public college are very happy to discuss with us and compare the differences between the United States and Taiwan in the classroom. The professors will share handouts and literature for us to read before class. During the class, the teacher will guide us to discuss with classmates. A class takes environmental protection as a topic in the class, and a video on Taiwan's garbage recycling methods is shown for everyone. This caused a lively discussion among the students, and the teacher asked us to share the answers we know with other students or answer their questions in class. After the class was over, the professor also cared about our learning situation and adjusted to teach in the way that we can absorb most. The teaching methods in the United States and Taiwan are not the same, but we like and adapt to the environment, culture, and learning styles there. And American students also raised their hands enthusiastically to speak in class, which is very different from the class atmosphere in Taiwan. In Taiwan, only teachers speak on stage, and students speak less enthusiastically. In American classrooms, no one is using their phones or sleeping. Everyone is taking notes seriously or taking out their computers to take notes. I think Taiwanese students can learn from American classmates and speak enthusiastically in class like them. Regardless of whether the answer is right or wrong, students can express their ideas and interact with teachers. This is a great way of teaching.

In the two-week course, I learned about the importance of health services for health promotion and American community care from the course and can compare the differences in the provision of health care models between Taiwan and the United States.(護二二丙 朱0寧)
