I have spent a lot of effort preparing before the trip. As a team leader, I try to divide the work as fairly as possible. However, the two-year technical program is busy and some students are lack skills, so I help them as much as possible. However, as time goes, being emotional is inevitable. Thus, learning to accept different emotions, even telling others, is not easy but needs continuous learning. At the beginning of the camp, the language was all in English, and most of them were incomprehensible. This made me feel scared. Just beware that the more scared I was, the less dare to face it, and I didn’t dare to communicate with others; one night when I was fighting for the report, a passage from the book came in thought, “It’s okay to be afraid. You will keep working hard and try your best to improve your skills. You can experience this feeling of fear slightly. It’s normal to be afraid because you are absorbing all kinds of things at an amazing speed.” Looking back on this exchange, although my English ability is not good, the most important thing is to cross the wall in my heart and use simple words to communicate with others, and I also found that when the first step is taken, the next path is not so difficult. In the course of the activity, we had a lot of time for group discussions with other schools. I found out that students from other schools were very innovative and bold in expressing ideas and suggestions and respected others' ideas. This let me learn more, think more widely, and communicate more worldly-wise. During the exchange, I realized other schools are very competitive, so I reflect on improving myself and making continuous progress to maintain competitiveness, instead of slacking in thinking that the current situation is enough. In the event, the communication language was English, and I also used English throughout the PowerPoint and introduction of the country. This improved my English, increased a lot of courage, and held great composure on stage. (護二一丙 蘇慈蓮)

In the process of preparing for the trip, I learn to communicate rationally with others and speak things bravely. Maybe they will have different opinions. But how to speak your own thoughts well, try not to let emotions affect you, and at the same time accept each other's opinions, communicate rationally with each other, and complete internal affairs together. After going abroad, exchanged different countries’ culture with other schools, expanded horizon, and international perspective; learn and respect multicultural; put forward ideas and join discussions with each other, take the initiative to ask questions and clarify things that we don’t understand, and help each other.
